Het Centrum Hyperthermie

The treatment center, Centrum Hyperthermie, originated in 2007 from the initiative of the Hyperthermie Foundation. The Hyperthermia Foundation (and the treatment center) aim to; promote research and treatment with hyperthermia.
Despite decades of research and scientific evidence, clinical hyperthermia treatments are rarely used in the Netherlands. In contrast, in more and more other countries, hyperthermia is embraced as a pillar of oncology.
In addition to chemotherapy and / or radiotherapy, hyperthermia is playing an increasingly important role worldwide.

The Hyperthermia Center stands for a personal approach within oncology, we actively think and advise patients.

In the Hyperthermia Center in Amsterdam, everything is aimed at making the patient as easy and comfortable as possible. A doctor is permanently present in the center during treatment. The practitioner (s) always stay close by and tell the patients, among other things, when to warn if something feels uncomfortable.

Doctor Roman Srámek

Given his background as radiologist Dr. Srámek is a key factor in our treatment centre. Since 2019 he can apply all his knowledge at Centrum Hyperthermie. With dedication for the oncological patient he will do the very best to support.

Doctor Z. Bachrach

Leading Hyperthermic Oncology to the next level since 2007. Dr. Bachrach has worked for years as a general surgeon, general practitioner and researcher for breatcancer. More than 30 years of knowledge helps him to give the best advise and treatment
